Damien Carriere is an accomplished comedy magician and illusionist based in Vancouver, Canada. While most of his clients are in British Columbia and Alberta, he has also performed around the world from North America to The Great Wall of China! Damien has been the featured act to sold out night clubs and theatres throughout Vancover Island and the Lower Mainland.
Damien Carriere is not only a corporate performer, he was also the opening act for the well known Canadian children’s entertainer, Fred Penner. Damien performs stage shows, close up acts and special event entertainment for parties, festivals, corporate events, birthdays, aboard trains and ships and so much more. His full stage “Magic and Illusion Show” is a favourite for audiences of all ages.
This Vancouver based entertainer continues to win International Awards for his own original magic and routines including his Award Winning emotionally moving “rose routine,” his Gold Medal Winning “Imagination Vacation” routine and his heart stopping handcuff, chains, rope and shrink-wrap “mummification escape”!
Recognized by his peers Damien served as the President of the Victoria Magic Circle in 2004/2005, International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) Ring #183, and he is now currently involved in the Vancouver Magic Circle IBM Ring #92 and The Fraser Valley Magic Circle IBM Ring #387 as well.
Since Damien also lives and performs in Chilliwack, he also holds the title of "The Chilliwack Chiefs Official Magician" and has performed at many of their hockey games. Damien custom created the "Hockey Net Illusion" impossibly producing the Chiefs mascot centre ice inside two empty hockey nets!
Damien has also received many high reviews from performing his magic and illusions on stage every Christmas as part of the Goh Ballet's version of the holiday classic, The Nutcracker Ballet. Damien performed in his role as Drosselmeyer since the two Vancouver based companies, Canadian Dance Productions and the Goh Ballet, started this yearly tradition and he continued to do so for 5 consecutive years!

I had the pleasure of having Damien perform at my house for a combination 50 yr birthday & and my fathers 80th birthday. We had approximately 100 guests ranging from ages of 5 years old right through 93 years old. Everybody loved his presentation and ability to join in with conversations then surprise the heck out of every one with an illusion. The crowds of people would gather around Damien as he is performing and many times through out the evening you could hear "HOW DID HE DO THAT, WOW, UNBELIEVABLE, INCREDIBLE, SHOW ME AGAIN" and so on. The crowd was amazed as was I, Damien is a true professional with a personal flair to his roaming magic mingling with the crowd in the house. I would not hesitate to have Damien attend one of my functions again his performance is well worth the fee. Thanks Damien great job.
